Alma Herrmann, born in Mainz in 2002, is an artist whose practice spans performance, video, and installation. Her work focuses on an exploration of text. She is interested in how language appears and changes in various medial and physical contexts. Her works are process-oriented and examine fragility, ambivalence, and semantic tensions in particular. Narratives in text and image become a means of playfully questioning existing meanings.
